The breakfast buffet on weekends was great and the personal breakfast plate during low occupancy was a nice touch. One sauna entry was included and the possibility of visiting the salt cave was a bonus. The staff members were friendly, and dinner was delicious.
There were limited after-dinner options due to the lack of a bar or lounge area. there weren't many amenities in the small village where the hotel is located beyond one bar.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and provides a good base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. the rooms are clean and some have interesting design themes, such as the 'mousy' themed room mentioned in one review. the breakfast is well-reviewed, with one guest stating that it was very good for German standards. Facilities like the garden and sauna are an added bonus.
Some guests raised concerns about staff not making an effort to connect with guests who spoke limited German.

We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful surrounding countryside, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. We also loved the hotel's quirky atmosphere, especially the interesting garden with ducks and a rooster. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we had a good experience dining at the onsite restaurant with reasonable pricing.
Everything is what we need and want.

The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. the location is great for nature lovers looking to explore the surrounding countryside.
The staff could have been more welcoming and helpful. They seemed to lack enthusiasm and were not particularly accommodating.
